VCPC invites all active members to join us on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm for the next VCPC Board Meeting at the Newbury Park Library Meeting Room, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park, CA. 91320. We hope you can make it!
REGISTRATION FOR SPRING LADDER LEAGUE OPENS APRIL 20
VCPC is offering a SPRING Ladder League! We have two Ladder sessions: Mondays at noon for a 6-week session from April 17 to June 8 (no ladders on May 25), and Wednesdays at noon for a 6-week session from April 29 to June 10 (no ladders on May 27). The skill level for the Monday ladder league will be 3.0 and higher. The skill level for the Wednesday ladder league will be 2.5-3.25. For both ladder leagues, scores will NOT be reported to DUPR for this session.
Registration will open on Monday, April 20, 2026, and you may register from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All entries received in that time period will go into a lottery for the available spots. Those members who were on the waitlist last session will automatically be given first priority. Even if you were on the waitlist for the last session, to guarantee your spot, you will still need to sign up per the instructions below and also add “Priority” in the subject line. Please note that setting your email to send exactly at 8:00 AM won’t guarantee a spot - this helps to keep it fair for everyone.
Before signing up, please be aware that CRPD plans to complete the Rancho Conejo court resurfacing this spring but has not provided specific dates for when this will occur. As a result, there may be scheduling conflicts or impacts to the ladder sessions. Some weeks may need to be cancelled, and there will be no make-up sessions. We understand this uncertainty may influence your decision to participate.

ABOUT US
Ventura County Pickleball Club (aka VCPC) is a 501(c)(3) California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for the purpose of encouraging interest in the fun, healthy, recreational and competitive sport of pickleball. Our club strives to facilitate a sense of community, provide guidance to those who are new to the sport, assist in organized play options for all and advocate for creation of more places to play. The club also works to promote good sportsmanship, fellowship, and a fun and enjoyable experience for all members playing pickleball.
PICKLEBALL NET FUNDRAISER
We met our goal and have new nets at Rancho & Del Prado!
As many of you may know, VCPC maintains and replaces the portable nets for the Rancho Conejo Playfield (Rancho) and Del Prado Playfield (Del Prado) multi-use courts on an as-needed basis. Earlier this year, VCPC purchased one (1) heavy duty Joola net for the Rancho multi-use courts. Due to the overwhelming request of the pickleball community for updated quality nets on all of the courts, VCPC donated the first $2000.00 in club funds towards a fundraiser for the nets. Thanks to all of your generous donations, VCPC has reached its goal!!
VCPC has purchased and installed four (4) heavy duty Joola nets: two (2) for use at the Rancho multi-use courts and two (2) for the Del Prado multi-use courts. VCPC enlisted the help of many volunteers to make this happen! VCPC would like to recognize the following individuals and give them a big thanks for the time and effort they expended to help VCPC and the pickleball community: Allan Linderman, Mark Radocay, Gus Gougas, Sharon Pacheco, Carole Linderman, Grant Gower, Brian Stocker, Terje Andreassen, Zer Gonzales, Tobye Bernstein and Karen Nissim.
